Customer's Install  Guide TWC LOGO TRANS

Note: Don’t install  below 18º C  ( 64º F )

We Usually remove the tire before installation. It makes it easier to have gravity working with you. Or you may prefer not to remove your wheel to install your letters. However,  to apply your letters always start at the top of the tire, and do half of the tire at a time. This makes it easier to fit the letters to the tire. Rotate the tire by using the jack.

Wash your tires with a strong de-greaser. wipe or let air dry. Now Sand with 80g sandpaper to the area where the letters are going to be placed. Clean the tire several times with acetone tell you don’t see any black residue on your cloth. ( All tire paint, wax,  and dressings has to be removed ). let dry for 2 to 4 min, then clean with the 99% Isopropyl alcohol or you can use 90% rubbing alcohol. Before installing, bath the letters in the alcohol,  pat with a clean cloth and let air dry. now you are ready to install. The 20g bottle of adhesive will normally do up to three vehicles, place a thin coat of adhesive on each letter, spread the adhesive around making sure all corners are covered. so when you place the letter on the tire you’ll have a small bead of adhesive around the outside edge of the letter. if you don’t have a bead of glue around the letter that's fine. You don’t want a larger amount of glue around your letter, too much glue can cause the adhesive not to bond properly.

Guide d'installation du client

Note: Ne pas installer en dessous de 18º C ( 64º F )

"I recently purchased a 30 year old (1985) Mazda RX-7 with such low mileage that it actually still wore the tires it had when it came from the factory. Those tires were very hard and quite cracked, however, so new tires were required: of course, new original tires are no longer available. In fact, there are no tires available for the car that have raised white letters. TredWear Canada provided the only possible solution: they were able to replicate the two distinct fonts of the original 1980's Bridgestones, and within a couple weeks of ordering I had perfectly replicated 1980's period factory-look tires on my car. How else can one enjoy the safety of a current technology tire and yet still maintain the exact look of the car when it was delivered new thirty years ago?"
